“Love your Local Market” – the biggest celebration of Markets for another year at the Central Markets and Fishery Organization at Renti.
The Central Markets and Fishery Organization (ΟΚΑΑ SA), as a member of WUWM (World Union of Wholesale Markets), participates for fourth consecutive year in the European-wide Love Your Local Market initiative and hosts a big celebration with numerous festivities and free entrance, at the Central Markets and Fishery Organization, on Friday May 4th, 2018.
The campaign of this year, with the slogan “Markets: close to your heart”, is designed to raise awareness among citizens about the Markets as the most dynamic part of the city, where the Market’s heart beats. The main purpose is, to strengthen the liaison between the Markets, the citizens, the consumers and the local communities, to promote the general profile and role of retail and wholesale markets, to bring closer small and big markets, to promote the high – quality products, from all over the country from the Central Markets and Fishery Organization as a main supplier, with the best raw material in the Greek market and the majority of the consumers.
On May 4th, the Central Markets and Fishery Organization at Renti celebrates and hosts music events, live art and gastronomy events. Three big music stages, street food and alternative pop up market make up the festive program from 17:00 till late night.
